The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would be a seasoned senior accountant, with relevant accounting qualifications and experience. The Senior Accountant must be proficient in using Xero/Netsuite or similar enterprise grade systems and would be experienced in accounting, compliance & reporting, and should have solid knowledge of International Reporting Standards (IFRS). Understanding of accounting needs specific to SaaS or technology companies, and process improvement skills are preferred.

The Role

  • Assist in the month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information
  • Assist with the year end audit process and statutory reporting
  • Support the finance team's wider strategic projects
  • Improve the efficiency of financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance
  • Actively develop your own skills to ensure current knowledge of applicable standards and regulations for Entersekt's entities
  • Establish strong relationships with key colleagues outside of the wider finance team

Skills and Experience

Successful candidates for this role will generally possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA).
  • Proficient in using Xero for financial reporting, reconciliation, and general ledger management.
  • NetSuite or similar enterprise grade systems experience.
  • Familiarity with global accounting practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of multi-currency accounting and consolidations.
  • Experience preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate with external auditors for statutory reporting and tax compliance.
  • Experience at a large public accounting firm, or public multinational corporate accounting department preferred
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to ensure alignment with reporting requirements.

Non-essential but beneficial experience:

  • Understanding of the accounting needs specific to SaaS or tech companies.
  • Experience in streamlining accounting processes, automating workflows, and improving system efficiencies.
