Summary Of The Position

The Administrator - Trade Operations will be responsible for performing daily and monthly tasks across the Trading teams. This will include processing, confirming and instructing trades for a portfolio of Clients to the market, capturing trade and miscellaneous payments on the various banking platforms as well as attending to Client queries.

Outline Of Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • To perform the duties across the Trade Operation teams as required.
  • Functions will include FOF and On-market trade instructions and prepare & execute cash instructions on various banking platforms for a portfolio of Clients.
  • Ensure appropriate follow up for confirmation of transactions
  • Report of unmatched trades to Clients in line with SLA
  • Maintain professional relationships with across all internal teams as well as third parties.
  • Ensure all queries raised are resolved within required timelines.
  • Provide support to the Trade Operations Team Leader/ Manager

Skills And Experience Required

  • A tertiary qualification and minimum 1-year operational experience.
  • Excellent financial services process & product knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial instruments.
  • Experience on Trading activities is preferrable.
  • Good understanding of cash and trade instruction cycles.
  • Good knowledge of systems and systems control environments.
  • Be able to “think outside the box” and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Be meticulous and have a high attention to detail.
  • Be calm and stay focused in stressful/high pressured situations.
