We are seeking an accomplished Head Barman with exceptional bar operations knowledge to take the lead at a high-volume 4-star hotel. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management, cocktail mixology, staff supervision, and maintaining the highest service standards.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, including staff schedules, performance, and guest service.
Ensuring all beverages are served in line with hotel brand standards.
Monitoring and managing stock levels, including conducting stock takes and ensuring proper usage controls.
Using Micros to process sales and generate reports.
Training junior bar staff in product knowledge, mixology, and customer service.
Ensuring a clean, well-presented, and welcoming environment for guests.
Liaising with suppliers and coordinating beverage deliveries.
Managing wastage, breakages, and variances in stock.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a 4-star hotel environment.
Strong knowledge of Micros POS and inventory control.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work late shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for guest service and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing stock.
Between 3 - 5 Years
