Porters – 4-Star Hotel – KwaZulu-Natal

As a Porter, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, and providing courteous service throughout their stay. You will work closely with the front office and housekeeping to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures, maintaining the high standards expected of a 4-star property.

Key responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure.

Assist guests with luggage handling efficiently and safely.

Escort guests to their rooms, providing information on hotel facilities.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby and entrance areas.

Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.

Collaborate with front office and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest service.

Uphold safety, security, and hygiene standards at all times.

Previous experience as a Porter or similar role in a 3-star or higher hotel.

Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.

Physically fit and able to handle luggage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable and punctual with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
