Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an Independent Contractor, Biology Lecturer, at our Pretoria campus on a part-time basis.

Type of appointment:

Independent Contractor (part-time; flexible workhours agreement)

Purpose:

• To lecture Applied Sciences-related modules, in the faculty on a part-time (contractual) basis.
• To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications required:

• Minimum qualification: MSc (Masters) in Biology and/or Biotechnology or a related qualification

Experience:

• Relevant lecturing experience
• Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
• Relevant research experience

• Principles of Biology
• Introduction to Biology
• Introduction to Science
• Ethnobotany
• Animal and Plant Biology
• Medical Microbiology and Immunology
• Introduction to Molecular Biology

Responsibilities:

• Lecturing

• Setting and marking of assessments
• Preparation of notes and additional study materials
