Key Responsibilities
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to Community support workers
- Lead by example, promoting best practices in client care
- Support new staff with onboarding, training, and development
- Foster strong relationships with staff, ensuring open and supportive communication
- Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development needs
- Facilitate regular team meetings to enhance teamwork and a sense of belonging
- Manage staff concerns and provide timely assistance
- Assist in managing leave requests and payroll-related activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement and participate in training sessions

To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor (Aged Care or Health Industry experience is desirable but not essential)
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including performance management
- Experience in facilitating meetings and training sessions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of Aged Care and Home Care Standards (desirable)
- A positive, proactive, and supportive leadership style
- National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months)
- Proof of influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations (as per Amana Living policy)
- Valid WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- Successful completion of pre-medical and reference checks
