Job Description
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Carry out regular cleaning of the offices/premises including but not limited to; - Clean, wash, sweep, vacuum, dust, sanitize and mop all designated areas as per the schedule or as directed to maintain a good image and health standards - Washing dishes as well as kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters - Empty all dustbins daily and dispose of the waste in the designated areas - Cleaning refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, watercoolers and all kitchen equipment - Cleaning of office spaces on a regular basis or as and when required
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels etc.)
- Checking stock levels of cleaning supplies (handwash, detergents, toilet paper etc.) and refreshments (tea, sugar, milk etc.) and initiating orders for replenishment with Management
- Daily inspection of designated area and completion of the checklist/register
- Serving tea/coffee/replenishment's (as required)
- Maintain tidiness of offices and premises
- Assist with ad hoc duties as and when required
- Matric/Grade 12
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of acceptable cleaning and hygienic practices
- Knowledge of the usage and safe handling of standard cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow health and safety standards
- Must be reliable, trustworthy and honest
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English - verbal and written
- Able to maintain confidentially
- Good time management skills
- Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks
- Strong work ethic
