Role Purpose,

The incumbent will be responsible for the commercial management control function for Southern and Central Africa (Lactalis Exports South Africa) organisation. This includes planning, budgeting and forecasting. The Management Controller will also be responsible for supporting the Central and Southern African countries including 1 subsidiary as well as to analyse activities from Europe and South Africa.

, Requirements,

  • BCom Degree or related tertiary qualification
  • CIMA would be advantageous
  • 6-8 years’ experience in an FMCG environment (Industrial or Commercial), preference within the Dairy Industry
  • Good analytical skills
  • Accuracy and details orientated
  • Computer literacy: Advanced Excel and related MS Office Packages
  • Proven track record in financial management, systems implementation, and controls
  • Knowledge of BPCS System or similar ERP System and Reporting Tools
  • Knowledge of a standard costing system and understanding of profitability analysis.
  • Collaborative Management Style
  • A resilient individual with excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Result driven, business acumen and good decision-making as well as strong leadership skills

, Duties and Responsibilities,

  • Ensure the data collection for the departments/countries in the cluster
  • Realize the weekly & monthly follow up of KPI’s,
  • Prepare the provisional results, consolidate and file the reporting,
  • Analyze the data & variances in close comparison with the business, with a good knowledge of technical ratios,
  • Work closely with the operational management in developing and building forecasts, budget,
  • Collaborate with Line Managers on areas development based on analysis as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives

Act as business partner to support the General Manager of Central/Austral Africa and his heads of countries
