Our Client is a fast-growing, product-led financial technology organisation that supports large enterprise clients with real-time infrastructure. They’re currently hiring and are in need of an API Support Engineer to step into a hands-on technical support function.

Who This Role Will Appeal To

You will work closely with internal teams and external merchants to keep systems running, investigate failures, and get to the root of problems quickly. In addition, you will work on real infrastructure challenges for high-traffic platforms with a focus on the following:

  • API issues / API troubleshooting
  • Platform stability and system monitoring
  • Post-integration troubleshooting
  • Escalations, and transaction-level support

This role is ideal for a technical, proactive self-starter who enjoys working close to the product, understands how platforms behave in production, thrives on challenges, and is a solutions-focused team player.

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting ability, especially in complex system environments, especially related to APIs, integration
  • Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and Postman
  • Proficient in various coding languages (JavaScript, Python, or C#) to troubleshoot code-level problems
  • Experience handling technical escalations or platform incidents, including experience in escalating to engineering teams
  • Exposure to payment systems, transactional platforms, or related environments
