As a CIM Reconciliation Specialist you’ll be supporting the delivery of ensuring gaming withdrawals are reconciled and matched in the accounting records while working closely with Business Intelligence, the Payments Team, and the Risk Team. This will help us excel in receiving data in a timely and accurate manner and that the reconciling items can be verified. This will enable us to stay ahead of the game.

What You’ll Be Doing

Data Integration

  • Obtain and review all documentation for new processors, ensuring alignment with financial systems and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the BI and software development teams to ensure finance systems can accommodate new products and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Liaise with finance team members to communicate new processes and reporting requirements effectively.
  • Proactively resolve queries with Banking, BI, Payments, Risk, and Finance teams to maintain smooth data flow and operational efficiency.

Cash Management

  • Manage the daily PTS cashin NAV imports (from BI) and Digifeed refund imports (from DigiProcessing), ensuring successful importation and resolution of any issues preventing proper upload into NAV.
  • Reconcile and match FX purchases across all CIM vendors.
  • Process and match all CIM FX transactions after obtaining approval, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Post manual adjustments and corrections, including verifying, reversing duplications, reallocating incorrectly posted cashins, and resolving post account queries.
  • Prepare and submit the monthly Cashin Disclosure Report (REMA vs NAV).
  • Extract REMA cashins, code processors to cashins, and reconcile REMA and NAV cashins, investigating and escalating discrepancies to BI for resolution.
  • Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain the CIM open item report, resolving open items regularly.

Cashin Post Account

  • Perform Cashin Post Account Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies addressed.

Audit Process

  • Assist in preparing relevant information for both internal and external audits, including eCogra.
  • Respond promptly to audit queries and provide necessary support to ensure smooth audit processes.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively with team members across departments to ensure key deliverables are met on time.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with managers and team members to ensure potential issues are identified and escalated promptly.
  • Share important updates and information with team members and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned on priorities and progress.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting process documentation for monthly tasks to ensure business continuity.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the team and organizational goals.

Essential Skills You’ll Bring To The Table

  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • BCom Accounting Finance Degree and/or Finance Diploma
  • 2-3 year’s experience in Data Reconciliations
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • Experience with accounting software (eg Navision)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
