The Supervisor Despatch will be responsible for focusing on duties such as daily control of orders for despatch, Loading and receiving of stock, housekeeping and stock rotation procedures.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Experience Requirements
- 2 years supervisory experience in a similar role in an FMCG environment
- Planning and organizing , Problem Solving , Attention to detail
- Must have a strong personality and excellent leadership skills
- Computer literacy - Strong Computer skills
- Numerical ability , Sense of urgency
- Communication – written, verbal
Key Outputs
- Responsible for all Month end stock count in Despatch.
- Receiving of products from production and Inter company.
- Transfer cages kept locked after products received.
- Stock/GRV transfer into GP.
- Stock count & recons done at the start and end of shift by both parties during handover.
- Checking load documents and verifying that all is in order and verifying that seals are correct according to bulk picking slip.
- Account for all stock being dispatched.
- Reconciling of Stock per shift. (Stock recon must be done on every shift).
- Keeping despatch storage areas neat and tidy.
- Update daily reports to Despatch Manager.
- Delivery Vehicle loaded as per pipeline on time.
- Plan Depots loading of trucks and making sure that all stock is timeously loaded.
- Making sure that all staff have their PPE all the time. Also monitor time and attendance.
- Conduct the Depot claims (ITO queries).
- Truck inspection done prior to loading. (Food Safety requirement).
- Explain all stock variance and Adherence to all relevant SOP’s
- Accurate order requirements sent to production.
- Conduct shift invocoms.
- Assist with stock control by assisting with monthly stock counts as required by management (transfers and GRVS)
- Checking load documents and verifying that all is in order and verifying that seals are correct
