Our client, a reputable hospitality group with a footprint across KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations at one of their busy 4-star properties. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for service excellence, a keen eye for detail, and a track record of managing high-volume hotel restaurants.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating the restaurant team to deliver outstanding guest service.
Coordinating all aspects of restaurant operations, including scheduling, staff management, and customer relations.
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are maintained.
Managing stock levels and controlling costs to meet budget requirements.
Overseeing Micros and DinePlan systems to ensure accuracy in billing and reservations.
Working closely with the kitchen and banqueting teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Monitoring guest feedback and implementing improvements where necessary.
Assisting with training and onboarding of new staff.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 4-star hotel environment.
Strong proficiency with Micros and DinePlan.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Well-presented, professional, and passionate about customer service.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Between 3 - 5 Years
