BTT Richards Bay Region currently has a vacancy for a Receptionist.


The main purpose of the job is to provide an efficient front office, administrative and HR support function to the BTT Richards Bay Regional Office.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to plan organise, prioritise and multi-task

Strong customer service focus

Excellent problem-solving skills

High levels of integrity and confidentiality

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficient on MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point

Minimum Requirements

Matric

HR or Administration qualification will be advantageous

3 years front office/administrative experience

Duties and Responsibilities

Answer and redirect all incoming calls promptly in a friendly, polite and professional manner.

Relay messages to the respective employees if they are not available.

Welcome all guests upon arrival and contact their respective hosts.

Maintain internal and external customer relations at all times.

Update internal telephone directories and short codes

Liaise with IT/Procurement regarding any faults or requests regarding the telephone lines.

Promote a positive image of the company at all times.

Ensure that the reception area is always kept neat and tidy

Arrange/cancel access permits

Arrange stationery orders for new employees

Distribute post between Richards Bay and other Regions

Coordinate the courier services for all documents to be couriered

Participate in communications meetings.

Photocopying, faxing, laminating, scanning and typing of documents.

Apply efficient time management in the workplace

Assist with any other administrative or support function as required by the Regional HR Manager.
