Maintenance Manager

LOCATION

NR Workshops- 332 Roan Crescent, Corporate Park North, Midrand

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum Grade 12 / N2, preferably N3 or higher technical qualification and National Qualification preferred.
• Trade Test / National Qualification preferred.
• Code EC or C (Code 14) Driver’s license preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years general maintenance experience essential
• Auto-electrical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge / experience preferred.

SKILLS

Applicants must have the following:

• Sound verbal, written and telephonic communication skills in English
• Technical aptitude
• Precise and accurate nature, as well as attention to detail and deadline orientated.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Ability and willingness to work irregular and extended hours

OTHER

Applicants may be required to work extended /irregular hours

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:

• General maintenance of concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks and wheel loaders
• Ensuring that scheduled daily and monthly maintenance is done on concrete truck mixers, mixer units, concrete pump trucks and wheel loaders.
• Maintaining hydraulic systems
• Maintenance of fixed plant / batching plants, where required.
• Overall care and maintenance of company assets
• Tyre support for mobile plant
• Maintaining conveyor belts and screw conveyors
• Maintaining air compressors
• Pro-active planning of repair work on concrete mixer units
