BTT Richards Bay Region is currently recruiting for a HR Administrator.


The main purpose of the job is to provide an effective and efficient Human Resources service to all employees within the Richards Bay business unit.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Strong customer service focus

Excellent problem-solving skills

High levels of integrity and confidentiality

Process & detail orientated and with the ability to work within numerous & tight deadlines

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficient on MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point

Minimum Requirements

Matric

HR Management qualification

3 years administrative experience in a corporate environment

Working knowledge of time and attendance systems is preferred

SAP HR experience

Duties and Responsibilities

Full responsibility for the efficient promotion, demotion, transfer and termination of all employees across the Richards Bay Unit

Administer all fixed term contracts and ensure adequate renewal or termination times

Responsible for the administration of new starter probation reports

Custodian of Regional employee files and filing of employee documentation

Full responsibility for employee benefits administration (medical aid, fund enrolment and withdrawals).

Full responsibility for Recruitment, Selection and Appointment, for all positions (Grade 09 and below) in line with BTT policies and procedures

Co-ordinate and/or conduct all pre-employment screening checks including references

Responsible for the efficient on-boarding of all new Richards Bay employee

Custodian of Regional employee files and filing of employee documentation

Load new employees onto the system and link them to the relevant positions within the specified cut-off times from payroll

Administer the day-to-day aspects of the HRIS (disciplinary records, employee information, assessments, document uploads etc

Conduct HR audits to ensure adherence to Company standards and legislation

Implement best practises and continuous improvement within the HR Function

Co-ordinate the HR engagement meetings

Relieve receptionist for lunch breaks and any period of absence

Provide an effective and efficient payroll support function to all regional employees.
