We are seeking a creative and technically skilled videographer and video editor to join our Social Media & Marketing department. In this dual-role, you will plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content, from concept to final edit, tailored for The Rooms Network’s social media and TV channels, on-air promos, and digital campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing Manager, designers, and producers to deliver engaging visuals that enhance our brand voice and audience engagement.
Key responsibilities
Pre-production and planning
Collaborate with the marketing manager and social media and and content teams to develop video concepts and storyboards aligned with campaign objectives.
Recce and secure locations, manage equipment logistics, and schedule shoots.
Prepare shot lists, scripts, and production timelines.
Videography
Operate cameras, lighting, and audio gear to capture interviews, b-roll, and promotional footage.
Ensure high-quality framing, exposure, and sound recording on set.
Adapt quickly to changing shoot conditions and creative direction.
Editing and post-production
Import, review, and organize footage; maintain a structured media library.
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent), incorporating graphics, motion effects, and audio design.
Colour-grade footage and mix audio for broadcast-quality output.
Export videos optimized for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) and internal use.

Collaboration and delivery
Work closely with graphic designers, motion artists, and social media specialists to integrate animations and branding assets.
Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Archive completed projects and ensure proper file versioning.
Continuous improvement
Stay current with video trends, platform specifications, and emerging technologies.
Recommend innovative video formats and storytelling techniques to boost engagement.
Qualifications and skills
Education and experience
Diploma or degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience in videography and video editing, preferably in a broadcast or digital media environment.

Technical proficiency
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or equivalent editing and motion graphic software.
Proficient with DSLR/cinema cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, and lighting setups.
Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and compression standards for web and broadcast.
Creative and interpersonal skills
Exceptional eye for composition, storytelling, and pacing.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfortable taking feedback and giving constructive input.
