Learning and assisting experienced account managers and managing client relationships. Developing client relationships, understanding account management strategies, and contributing to business growth under the guidance of senior staff

Job Description

Supervised responsibilities may include:

Develop Client Relationships

  • The trainee will focus on building strong relationships with existing clients and potential new customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Learn Account Management Strategies

  • Work closely with senior account managers to learn and understand account management best practices, strategies, and techniques.

Support Business Growth

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Handle Client Inquiries

  • Respond to client inquiries, provide support, and address their needs in a timely and professional manner.

Prepare Reports

  • Assist in preparing sales reports, client updates, and other relevant documentation to support account management efforts.

Assist With Sales Activities

  • Participate in sales activities, such as making outbound calls, attending client meetings, and developing sales materials.

Support Data Management

  • Maintain and update customer records and account performance data, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

Communicate Effectively

  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and trust.

Qualifications

Strong Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and internal teams.

Customer Service Skills

  • The ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients is crucial.

Sales Skills

  • A basic understanding of sales principles and techniques is helpful, particularly for those looking to transition into a full-fledged account manager role.

Analytical Skills

  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on data is valuable.

Problem-Solving Skills

  • The ability to identify and solve client issues and address their needs effectively is important.

Organization And Time Management Skills

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines is essential

Basic Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
