Are You Someone Who Can
- Managing the facility's budget, including expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and contracts.
- Ensure correct invoicing and maintenance is concluded to decrease losses to the bank.
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
- Develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
- Supervising facility staff and ensuring they are properly trained and performing their duties effectively.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME's, project managers and senior staff members
- Take charge of all emergencies and ensure responsible back-ups are available to take corrective action as necessary
- Participate in the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of facilities by obtaining and documenting quotes/bids, evaluating proposals for specification compliance and make recommendations.
- Managing building projects and renovations.
- Overseeing and coordinating building maintenance and repair activities, including scheduling routine inspections and addressing emergency repairs.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants, including coordinating security measures and emergency procedures, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinating and supervising contractors for various maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including health and safety regulations and environmental regulations.
- Developing and implementing emergency preparedness plans.
- Planning and managing space allocation and usage within the facility.
- Implementing and managing sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency measures.
- Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including staff, contractors, and building owners.
- Collecting data and analysing it to adjust current processes and plans.
- Minimum Qualification – Relevant diploma in facilities management field or engineering.
- Experience- Minimum of 3 years of experience. Strong technical background, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in the role.
