Senior C Linux Programmer

Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)

Our Client is a product-led technology company whose solutions have a valuable and positive impact on society. This company enables safety driven mobility solutions and they are in search of a skilled Senior C Programmer with Linux programming experience for application development to join one of their teams based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs.

The ideal candidate must have good engineering common sense, someone who takes initiative and is accountable for their function within the company. This position is for someone who wants to grow, take the lead on projects and has solid support and soft skills. This person will be working and interfacing with a wide range of people within the organisation (locally South Africa, North America and India).

Some Key Things You’d Be Doing

• Creatively solving design problems (creating feature requests and design documentation and implementation)
• Debugging code-related issues
• Updating and optimising existing code bases
  
  

NB: This is an in-office role based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs

Requirements

• Software or Engineering Degree
• Must have Both C and Linux Programming experience (must be a C programmer with Linux programming experience for application development)
• At least 5 years’ experience professionally in C and Linux
  
  

Nice To Have

• Git/ Github experience
• Interpreting datasheets
• Electronic hardware experience
