Role Description


Timeline: ASAP

Contract: 20-40 hours per week


We're looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Freelance Digital Marketing Project Manager to take over a critical role managing campaigns, creative workflows, and channel coordination across a fast-moving eCommerce brand.


You’ll act as the connective tissue between marketing, creative, and eComm teams, ensuring the right assets are produced, approved, and deployed on time across email, SMS, website, and social. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in the details, communicates clearly, and knows how to keep multiple plates spinning without dropping a single one.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the marketing calendar and coordinate timelines across internal teams and external partners
  • Oversee planning and execution of product launches, promotional campaigns, and channel-specific activations
  • Brief designers, copywriters, and creative partners on asset needs
  • Review assets for accuracy, brand alignment, and readiness for deployment
  • Maintain a well-organized asset library and manage versioning and sharing across stakeholders
  • Build and schedule email and SMS campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo and Postscript
  • Apply testing strategies and performance best practices to campaign execution
  • Manage site merchandising and product updates on Shopify, including building campaign-specific landing pages
  • Support execution of loyalty, referral, and affiliate programs
  • Assist with SEO optimization of landing pages and product content
  • Coordinate go-to-market execution across channels (email, SMS, website, social)
  • Troubleshoot roadblocks, communicate updates clearly, and maintain momentum across multiple initiatives


Requirements:

  • 4+ years in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle roles (e-commerce or DTC experience preferred)
  • Advanced experience with Klaviyo and Shopify, including setup, integrations, and migrations
  • Strong grasp of segmentation, suppression logic, and automation flows
  • Comfortable building and editing HTML and JSON for template customization
  • Excellent attention to detail — you don’t let anything slip
  • Confident working across tools like Attentive, LoyaltyLion, Ordergroove, Segment, and Zendesk
  • Strong understanding of UTM structures, deliverability best practices, and tracking
  • Effective communicator who can confidently lead conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Adaptable and solutions-oriented — you see obstacles as opportunities
