Key Accountabilities And Outputs
- Support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems in the plant.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project-based work, including plant upgrades, efficiency enhancements, and safety initiatives.
- Analyze data and assist in the development of reports for performance analysis and process optimization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas to enhance plant processes, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all aspects of plant operations.
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (BENG).
- Strong theoretical knowledge in mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience (internships, projects, etc.) in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
- A strong interest in plant engineering, process optimization, and maintenance activities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
