Industrial Engineer

The Intermediate Industrial Engineer position aka Senior Business Process Engineer, within our company, is a pivotal role in our organization, bringing depth of expertise and leadership to drive significant business improvement for our clients.

Purpose:

This Industrial Engineer is an intermediate, experienced professional who leads complex process improvement initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. This role is designed for a skilled problem-solver who can analyze complex business scenarios, design comprehensive solutions, and guide clients through implementation while building strong relationships. Whether developing strategic process improvements, leading change management, or implementing industry-specific solutions, this role creates substantial, measurable value for our clients while providing mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

Process Analysis and Re-engineering:

• Conduct detailed analyses of client processes and develop comprehensive, actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Gather, validate, and analyse data to support process improvement initiatives.

Solution Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement process improvements or other tailored solutions that align with client objectives, based on thorough analysis and expertise.

Task Autonomy and Complex Task Management:

• Handle more complex tasks autonomously, displaying the skill and confidence to lead significant components of client projects.

Client Collaboration and Engagement:

• Work collaboratively with clients, communicating effectively and building relationships to help them understand and buy into the changes or solutions proposed.

Continuous Learning & Development:

• Stay current with best practices and methodologies in process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BEng) (Industrial)
• Honours Degree in Industrial Engineering (BEng) or Master's Degree is advantageous
• Professional certifications relevant to business process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP) are beneficial

Experience:

• Mid-level: 2-4 + years of relevant experience in business process engineering, with demonstrated project success.
