Financial Accountant – Your Future Position?

As a member of the finance team you will be accountable for the management of local General Ledger (GL) integrity. You will liaise with Givaudan Business Services (GBS) for record to report completeness & accuracy. You will manage statutory Annual Financial Statements (AFS) preparations. You will prepare and manage company annual & provisional tax returns, reporting and income tax payments. You will prepare and manage VAT returns & payments, including deferred VAT payments. You will Co-ordinate and manage internal controls over the company key business processes. You will be accountable for local treasury & cash management.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • You will re responsible for the overall integrity of GL and transaction recording therein.
  • You will analyse and reconcile accounts in GL, in liaison with GBS and Junior Accountant
  • You will close period end in liaison with GBS
  • You will co-ordinate audits for local legal entity iro functional responsibility
  • You will be accountable for Statutory financial reporting
  • You will maintain chart of accounts per Givaudan Finance manuals, integrity of master data with GBS
  • You will prepare and file all statutory returns & reports for company taxes, including VAT. Attend to all queries thereon.
  • You will be accountable for Treasury and Cash Management, which includes:
  • Local liquidity management
  • Local Forward Exchange Contract (FEC) management in liaison with Group Treasury
  • Local transactional bank relationship, including local cash management

Your Professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting or related role

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi task effectively
  • Team player
