As a Retail Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to educate clients on current product offerings and match them with solutions that best meet their individual business needs. This position requires proactive prospecting, both telephonically and in person, and the ability to engage and collaborate with customer relationship management staff within the retail space.

You will play a critical role in driving sales growth, managing a sales pipeline, and consistently achieving performance targets. Your ability to maintain professionalism, understand basic business principles, and convey the value of intangible products will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within specified timeframes.

Generate a steady flow of leads through prospecting, lead management, merchant visits, and marketing efforts.

Plan and manage daily and weekly sales activities effectively.

Make and receive outbound calls to promote product offerings and follow up with leads.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customer relationship teams.

Maintain and update sales records and lead tracking using CRM systems.

Prepare and submit applications in line with compliance, underwriting, and risk protocols.

Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with team members to support business objectives.

Participate in occasional store visits to foster merchant relationships and generate in-person leads.

Represent the brand at indoor and outdoor marketing events in the designated region

Proven experience in telephonic sales — mostof your work will involve outbound calling.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to clearly and professionally articulate product benefits to clients.

Experience in financial services or funding products is highly advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to sell intangible products.

Comfortable working in a challenging, high-rejection sales environment.

Persistent, resilient, and highly motivated by performance-based incentives.

Willingness and flexibility to occasionally conduct in-store visits and lead generation.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with high levels of discipline.

Target-driven with a strong focus on achieving commissions.

Technologically proficient and competent in using CRM and productivity tools.
