Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers, incentives, and insights? We’re looking for a dynamic Reward Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across reward, payroll, and data analytics. This role will report into the HR Manager: Reward & Analystics, based at our Boxer head office in Westville, Durban.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
As this role blends a strong HR core with a deep financial and analyses requirement, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of payroll systems as well as a good understanding and application of exceptional financial and analytical skills. We require someone who loves the detail and has an enquiring mind. As such, the ideal requirements are as follows:
- Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent
- Experience in HR, specifically payroll, systems, compensation/reward and HR analytics is important
- Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of accurate detail performance
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Payroll background or exposure is a strong plus
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Incentive Scheme Management: Manage and calculate monthly/quarterly Operations Management bonuses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Data Analysis & Reconciliations: Analyse incentive outcomes, conduct trend analysis, and perform reconciliations to support financial reporting and audits.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Compile and interpret HR statistics to inform decision-making and internal reporting.
- Payroll Coordination: Validate payroll inputs related to incentives, allowances, and other reward elements. Liaise closely with the payroll team to ensure smooth execution.
- Feasibility & Costing Studies: Support strategic HR projects by modelling costs and conducting reward-related feasibility exercises.
- Team Supervision: Lead and support a small team, ensuring deliverables are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Project Involvement: Participate in or lead special reward or HR analytics projects as needed.
