Regional Commercial Manager
For an international natural resources software company
Does this sound like the big picture of your career?
Your role reports to the Global Commercial Manager and will be based at our Johannesburg office. We are looking for a versatile and dynamic team player, and you will be required to perform all aspects of account management and new business sales for our EnviroSys software product, from regional strategy development, forecasting, contract negotiations and pipeline management, through to negotiating and closing sales. Regular travel may be required.

- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in enterprise technology sales, preferably with a tertiary degree/qualification in business or technical fields
- Knowledge and exposure to the resources industry
- Working knowledge of mining/environmental software products is highly desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of formal procurement processes
- Experience in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Strong account management skills
- Ability to establish and grow a sales pipeline, develop opportunities and win business
- Strong presentation skills, both online and in-person
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write high impact executive summaries and compile proposals
- Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders towards a common objective
- Proven capability in previously meeting revenue targets
- Regular travel may be required
