Sales Execution & Strategic Growth
Drive annual volume and NSV targets in Pet Professional channels
Develop action plans that align with national growth strategies
Oversee a portfolio of key accounts and distributor partnerships
Analyse market trends and implement innovative sales strategies
Monitor and report on performance, portfolio profitability, and customer engagement
Leadership & People Development
Lead and inspire a national team of Business Development Officers
Conduct regular performance reviews and capability assessments
Foster a sales-driven, scientifically reputable culture
Champion employee engagement, mentorship, and capability-building initiatives
Drive collaboration across internal departments to ensure operational excellence
Customer Engagement & Operational Excellence
Maintain and grow key customer relationships
Ensure efficient stock management and seamless coordination with supply chain and logistics teams
Oversee the execution of promotional campaigns and sales activities
Frequently travel across regions, ensuring a strong field presence and on-the-ground support
Qualified Veterinarian or Veterinary Nurse – essential
Minimum 5–7 years in sales with 3–4 years of people management experience
Strong understanding of scientific sales and the pet professional marketplace
Commercially savvy with excellent financial and strategic planning skills
Confident decision-maker with a collaborative approach
Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally
South African citizenship is required
