About the Role
As a Digital Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making by leveraging cutting-edge tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Looker Studio. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing and managing tagging strategies, ensuring accurate data collection, and creating insightful dashboards to visualise key performance metrics and convey an intuitive narrative to key stakeholders.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, translate them into measurable goals, and provide actionable insights. By combining your technical expertise with analytical acumen, you will help optimise digital campaigns, enhance user experiences, and contribute to the overall impact of marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and manage GA4 for tracking user behaviour and performance metrics.
Implement and maintain tagging solutions using GTM to ensure seamless data collection.
Design and develop interactive dashboards in Looker Studio to present data in a clear and actionable format.
Analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to align analytics strategies with business goals.
Ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies in tracking or reporting.
Translate raw data into clear, concise, and impactful visualisations, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Experience in creating and managing tagging strategies for websites and apps.
Excellent communication skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with a passion for leveraging data to drive results.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus, but not mandatory).
Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
A team player with a positive, collaborative attitude.
What We’re Looking For
~3 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, and CRO.
Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification (marketing-specific) are essential.
Proficiency in GA4, GTM, heatmapping tools and Looker Studio.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
