Your work
As Sales Manager for South Africa, based in Cape Town, you will be responsible for leading business development and sales activities across the region. You will identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and provide tailored solutions using IQIP’s advanced offshore and foundation equipment. Your role spans various markets, including offshore wind, oil & gas, coastal & civil, and decommissioning. With support from international teams, you’ll translate customer needs into innovative solutions and long-term partnerships.
Your responsibilities
Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for Southern Africa
Identify new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships
Translate customer requirements into commercial and technical proposals
Collaborate with engineering, service, and project teams to develop tailor-made solutions
Negotiate contracts and manage the complete sales process
Represent IQIP at client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions
Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity
Report on sales performance and contribute to regional growth plans
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical or capital equipment sales, preferably in offshore, heavy industry, or energy markets
Proven success in building client relationships and securing project-based sales
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of technical project requirements
Fluent in English; other local languages are a plus
Based in or willing to relocate to Cape Town
Willingness to travel throughout the Southern Africa region
