We’re looking for a Talent Administrator to join our dynamic Talent Management team at Head Office. This is a highly administrative role focused on supporting recruitment processes across Head Office and our Distribution Centres.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Group Talent Manager and Talent Specialists to coordinate recruitment activities behind the scenes. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the smooth execution of end-to-end recruitment logistics, documentation, and reporting. This position forms the administrative backbone of the Talent team and plays a critical role in keeping our recruitment function running efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A diploma/degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (advantageous)
  • 2–3 years of proven administrative experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of urgency and follow-through
  • Methodical and process-driven

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews, send calendar invites, and ensure both candidates and hiring line managers are informed of all interview details. Timely and clear communication is imperative.
  • Candidate Administration: Maintain accurate records in recruitment trackers and ensure candidate files are complete.
  • Job Adverts & Postings: Upload job adverts on internal and external platforms as required.
  • Shortlisting: Assist the Talent Management team in reviewing and shortlisting CVs.
  • Candidate Screening: Contact and screen external candidates for suitability ahead of final shortlisting, as and when required.
  • Candidate Regrets: Ensure all candidates who were screened but not shortlisted, as well as those who were interviewed but not successful, are informed timeously and professionally.
  • Documentation Support: Conduct, track and file all pre-employment checks, references, and compliance documents.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Prepare onboarding packs, assist with monthly induction, and manage first-day logistics (e.g., Meet & Greet, uniforms, and biometrics).
  • Data Capture & Reporting: Maintain recruitment data and compile accurate reports for the Talent team.
  • General Admin: Support with document formatting, filing, scheduling, and other administrative duties.
