Job Description
You will be embedded on a customer site and contribute in helping the customer reduce the cost of maintenance on site whilst increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Rockwell Automation has an excellent reputation for developing a strategic maintenance approach which can also directly the efficiency of the maintenance department
As a Asset Management Professional you will report to RAAMP Delivery Manager and work on-site in Johannesburg
Your Responsibilities:
- On-site professional management of maintenance and operations (MRO).
- Work with systems that allow the company to track its repairable inventory and apply associated warranty programs.
- Develop clear working Standard Operating Procedures detailing process flow and operational requirements for daily activities to support the maintenance operations.
- Provide a single contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking.
- Reduce MRO stock duplication and obsolescence.
- Storeroom Support managing its reorganization in partnership with the customer.
- Provide migration, rationalization, and standardization strategies to reduce MRO inventory asset value.
- Support productivity improvements through delivery of parts to the maintenance teams, whilst providing an overall lower total cost of ownership.
- Provide monthly financial reports and arrange consignment of new purchases.
- Work with client departments including plant management, engineering, purchasing and distributors to create efficiency plans for maintenance.
- Increase "Out of the box" reliability of spare repairable assets, using internal and external repair vendor capability.
- BSc or BEng Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education with additional qualifications
- Fluent English/Afrikans language skills (any 3rd language will be welcome)
- Project Management experience
