Key responsibilities:
Sales and promotion:
Promote and sell stock from the approved range, as well as ADHOC items, to Momentum staff, departments, customers, brokers, and partners.
Participate in briefing and brainstorming sessions with relevant customers.
Ensure SYNC quotes, including relevant artwork, are provided within 24 hours.

Store operations:
Oversee the total running of the corporate store.
Handle all reporting functions to head office and clients.
Maintain professional and positive interactions with Momentum clients and management.

Inventory management:
Check and sign in goods delivered to the shop, ensuring accuracy against invoices or delivery notes.
Capture items received into the Pastel module accurately.
Verify quantities and product codes against purchase orders and invoices.
Report discrepancies to relevant department heads before receiving goods.

Dispatch and delivery:
Ensure goods are packed correctly and labeled with customer details.
Verify that invoices and delivery notes match the goods being dispatched.
Arrange courier collections and ensure waybills are correctly filled and attached to invoices.
Ensure all documentation is accounted for and filed appropriately.

Returns and credits:
Manage the return of goods from clients, ensuring credit notes are issued and filed.

Administration:
Properly handle all paperwork related to sales, receiving, and dispatch.
Respond to emails and requests promptly.
Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain records of correspondence.
Maintain the accounting and inventory system accurately.
Generate detailed quotes and follow up using SYNC.
Update Pastel with invoices, credit notes, GRNs, etc.
Perform daily cash up, sales reconciliation, and report payroll deductions.

Store maintenance:
Maintain the tidiness and general upkeep of the shop.
Ensure proper merchandising and display of products in the shop.
Fit the shop with correct displays/themes for occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, etc.
Ensure product availability and manage stock levels by drawing from the warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and experience:
Grade 12 (Matric)
Tertiary qualification in supply chain management or similar
Stacking and storing qualification
Inventory management qualification
SHE supervisor qualification
Five years’ proven experience as a warehouse manager
Three years’ proven experience in a supervisory role/people management
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Experience in the promotions industry
Relevant product knowledge
Knowledge of SYNC production system
Knowledge of Pastel
