Electrical Designer - Looms/Harnesses

We're looking for a Electrical Designer with specific experience in the design of electrical looms/harnesses.

Must

At least have a N3 in Electrical Engineering, N6 Electrical Engineering or a ND might be preferred.

Have At Least 3 Years' Working Experience In

• Creating and updating electrical wire diagrams based on project specifications and standards in the designing of electrical looms/harnesses.
• Assigning the appropriate manufacturer parts, part numbers and related specifications to the relevant components in the diagrams.
• Maintenance and control over wiring diagrams (specifically on the software systems and database).
• Ensuring wires correctly and accurately with loom numbers, wire sizes and categories.
• Adding shielded cables with detailed specifications, including colours and part types.
• Generation and maintenance of reports such as BOMs and Wire Reports.
• Tracking and documenting the progress of assigned tasks and submission of timely reports.
• Harness tester programming and testing.
• Laser Wire Marker (LWM) setup, and programming.
  
  

Experience in specifically the Aerospace Industry will be highly beneficial.

Experience with PLM or PDM systems will be highly beneficial.
