Your Purpose...

  • We are seeking a commercially minded and hands-on Engagement Data Scientist to help us design and scale personalised interventions that increase customer activation, usage, and retention. Sitting at the intersection of data science, CRM, and behavioral strategy, this role partners closely with the Heads of Engagement and Sales to unlock high impact use cases from member data. The ideal candidate brings strong experimentation and modeling skills, with a passion for turning behavioral patterns into real-world engagement strategies.

Your Duties and Responsibilities...
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation models to identify distinct behavioral groups and drive targeted engagement strategies.
  • Analyze customer behavior across touchpoints (e.g., usage, attendance, content, sales interactions) to identify engagement and retention drivers.
  • Design and coordinate controlled experiments (e.g., A/B tests, holdouts, multi-variate experiments) to test hypotheses around personalisation, communication timing, and lifecycle nudges.
  • Collaborate with Engagement, Sales, Product, Marketing, and CRM teams to build and operationalise insight-led use cases that drive engagement and member retention.
  • Extract, clean and interpret large translate data and behavioral insights into compelling narratives and decision-making tools for business stakeholders that drive and direct operational and business strategy.
  • Partner with the data and analytics team to define data needs and interpret patterns, without owning model building or engineering workflows.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of key initiatives and continuously iterate strategies based on outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of testing and insight-driven decision-making across commercial teams.
  • Stay up to date on emerging tools, methods, and practices in applied data science for lifecycle marketing and customer intelligence.


We can’t live without… (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in an insights, analytics, or customer strategy role, ideally within CRM, loyalty, or engagement-focused teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer segmentation, lifecycle analysis, and behavioral trends interpretation.
  • Strong proficiency with tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with CRM/CDP platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Segment) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable).
  • Comfortable designing and evaluating A/B and multivariate experiments with clear business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a track record of influencing commercial strategy using data.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience coordinating across marketing, sales, and product teams.
