Role Purpose We are seeking a seasoned Head of Performance strategy to lead our performance marketing efforts and drive business growth through the direct channel. The purpose of this role is to set the strategic direction, operational cadence and measurable impact of all digital performance marketing initiatives at Momentum Insure. The ideal candicate must have a proven record of:
  • Driving business growth
  • Develop and execute innovative data-driven strategies that optimize marketing performance
  • Improve customer acquisition and engagement
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams of marketers, agency, sales stakeholders, UX conversion specialist
  • Measurebale ROI and business aligned outcomes across the division


This individual will operate at the intersection of strategic thinking, digital innovation, media activation, and performance measurement—acting as a catalyst for customer growth and commercial success in the direct customer acquisition channel.



Requirements Experience and Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate degree/Honors in Business Management, Marketing or Behavioural Sciences
  • 12 years or more years’ brand and marketing experience within the financial services industry


Duties & Responsibilities Core Responsibilities

Strategic & campaign Leadership


  • Design full-funnel media and measurement strategies with clear performance indicators.
  • Direct the implementation of scalable media programs across paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic, affiliate, and emerging digital channels.
  • Work with the specialist teams in the business to build cross-functional expertise and collaboration.


Data & Measurement


  • Lead the performance measurement roadmap, integrating third-party verification tools (e.g., MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify) and data platforms (GA4, Looker Studio, etc.). This will be with partners and specialists in the business, it is not expected that the implementation will be done by the performance lead specialist.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across campaign cycles and business reviews.
  • Develop dashboards and visualization tools to enable real-time visibility and impact analysis.


Team & Capability Development


  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of planners, conversion specialists, sales teams and data analytics specialists to deliver on performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Implement capability frameworks to upskill the team on platforms, planning, measurement, and automation.


Innovation & Future-focused Thinking


  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and algorithmic changes (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, TikTok).
  • Introduce new technologies, audience models, and targeting frameworks.
  • Develop test-and-learn strategies for creative formats, channel selection, and personalization

  • Develop and oversee the execution of annual, quarterly, and campaign-based performance marketing strategies aligned with Momentum Insure’s commercial goals.
  • Define and set the performance roadmap for Momentum Insure using with a comprehensive strategy that bridges operational and execution across the performance marketing function.
  • Serve as the strategic bridge between business, creative, digital, ATL media, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive marketing programs.
  • Translate brand objectives into measurable outcomes with a robust test-and-learn performance culture.
  • Research and procure MarTech for the business with a clear framework for procurement, usage and cost recovery.


2. Commercial growth & Business Performance


  • Drive business unit new business growth through innovative digital strategies and effective media investment.
  • Identify upsell opportunities, market expansion plays, and digital optimization paths that contribute to bottom-line growth.
  • Lead multi-market strategic initiatives and ensure alignment between offerings and business objectives.


3. Performance Excellence


  • Define and monitor KPIs, ROAS, cost-per-lead, and full-funnel metrics for all performance marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure consistent campaign tracking, optimization, and insights reporting.
  • Leverage biddable media, conversion architecture, and attribution frameworks to improve overall lead quality and acquisition costs.
