Infrastructure Manager

Role Purpose
The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of infrastructure operations across provincial branches. This includes ensuring the availability, maintenance, and performance of branch facilities, physical assets, and operational support systems. The role works in close partnership with Provincial Heads and Area Managers to deliver a consistent, compliant, and effective infrastructure experience that supports business continuity and enhances service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Infrastructure Management
- Ensure the effective performance and availability of branch infrastructure, including facilities, equipment, and operational assets.
- Oversee premises maintenance, lease administration support, and facilities management across provincial sites.
- Manage the maintenance and roadworthiness of fleet vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
Asset and Resource Oversight
- Monitor and manage infrastructure-related assets such as tablets, branch equipment, and stock items such as cards.
- Provide oversight on physical security and premises protection in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Support investigations relating to fraud, non-compliance, or operational incidents.
Compliance and Audit Adherence
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit recommendations.
- Implement corrective action plans and track resolution of identified infrastructure-related gaps.
Vendor and Project Coordination
- Manage relationships with local infrastructure vendors (e.g., TCM, Huge Connect).
- Coordinate the rollout of infrastructure and technology projects within the province and conduct post-implementation assessments to measure effectiveness.
Business Continuity and Risk Management
- Lead the development, implementation, and testing of local Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) to ensure resilience of operations.
Support Services and Administrative Management
- Provide adhoc operational support for ATM maintenance, and infrastructure requirements.
- Collaborate with Provincial Coordinators to ensure smooth administrative support to infrastructure operations.
- Support the Contact Centre process by ensuring correct logging and resolution of infrastructure queries.

- Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Operations, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure or operational management, preferably in a multi-site environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to provincial sites as required
