A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter

Area: Benoni
Children’s Ages: 8 year old (Grade 2) - Girl
Working hours: Monday – Friday 06:00 – 07:15 & 13:30 – 18:30 (Ad Hoc Saturdays required from around 08:00 – 13:00, with prior notice and will be paid additionally)
School holiday hours: Someone flexible if possible
Duties: Get children ready for school in the mornings, take to school in the mornings, collect from school, take to extra-murals (high-performing child with a very busy academic and extracurricular schedule, including gymnastics, netball, drama, and public speaking), assist with and supervise homework (She needs structured support with homework, test preparation, and speech practice on a daily basis), prepare meals for your children, prepare dinner for your family, occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)
Special Requirements: Preferably 20 years or older, but open to younger candidates with maturity and strong references. Minimum 1–2 years childcare or au pair experience required. Experience with primary school-aged children preferred. Fluent in Afrikaans and English. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle. Responsible, punctual, and proactive. Warm and patient, with a positive, encouraging attitude. Someone who enjoys working with a smart, active child and can manage a structured but fun daily routine. Must be comfortable with large, friendly dogs. Non-smoker. Willing to commit long-term (12 months or more)
Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
Salary: R15 000pm (Gross, before deductions) & fuel card provided for travel done within working hours.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
