ROLE PURPOSE

The Solutions Engineer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between the technical capabilities of iiDENTIFii’s products and the unique needs of our clients. Engaging with clients after initial qualification and discovery by the sales team, the Solutions Engineer joins selected sales conversations to gather detailed technical and business requirements. You will translate these into tailored solution designs, configure demonstrations that reflect the client’s environment, and clearly explain how the product will integrate into the client's front-end and back-end systems.


This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and successful implementation. It involves providing relevant documentation and access to a non-production testing environment, supporting client teams during integration, and resolving


technical challenges that arise along the way. The Solutions Engineer ensures each client’s implementation is efficient, scalable, and aligned to their goals—ultimately enabling client success through a deep understanding of both technology and business context 


ROLE TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Technical Sales

  • Join selected sales calls—typically after initial client qualification—as the technical advisor supporting the sales team. In these meetings, you’ll lead technical demos, showcase the platform, and help build client confidence in our solution.
  • Create high-level user flows that illustrate the end-user journey, detailing screen interactions and integration patterns. These are supported by diagrams that show how the final implementation will look and function.
  • Be responsible for documenting each client’s specific technical and business requirements and configuring our products to meet those needs.
  • Ensure that all technical aspects of the proposed solution are clearly defined and feasible from an integration perspective.


Solution Engineering & Implementation

  • Working closely with the client’s architects and developers, you’ll demonstrate how our solution can be integrated into their front-end and back-end systems.
  • Use your understanding of the client’s needs to configure their setup within our platform and ensure their environment is accurately prepared in our database.
  • Provide the client with technical documentation and access to repositories so they can test our product in a non-production environment.
  • Throughout the integration process, you’ll be the client’s go-to support— troubleshooting issues, resolving challenges, and ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.
  • Once testing is complete, assist in deploying the product to the client’s production environment.
  • When configuration changes are needed, make updates using APIs and develop the necessary SQL scripts to  implement those changes effectively.


Technical Support

  • Act as a second line of technical support for both internal teams and clients.
  • When queries arise, you’ll investigate the root cause, troubleshoot the issue, and communicate solutions clearly—ensuring that problems are resolved quickly and everyone involved is informed and satisfied.
