Key Responsibilities:
Production Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the meat production lines, ensuring efficiencyand compliance with production schedules.
Monitor workflow and adjust production activities to meet quality and quantitytargets
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., logistics, maintenance, and qualityassurance) to streamline production
.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, or relevant localregulations)
Monitor the quality of raw materials, production processes, and finished products tomeet company standards.
Team Leadership
Manage, train, and motivate production staff to ensure peak performance.
Assign duties, monitor team progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement amongst
employees
.
Health & Safety
Enforce compliance with workplace safety protocols to minimise accidents and
hazards.
Ensure staff are trained on proper handling and processing of meat products
Reporting and Documentation
Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including yields, waste, anddowntime.
Prepare reports on production performance, staffing needs, and maintenancerequirements
Communicate production issues and solutions to senior management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in meat processing or a related foodproduction environment.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with production equipment and machinery in a meat processing facility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production software systems

Work Schedule: [Include shift details, e.g., rotating shifts, weekends as required
