Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance: Lead preventative and reactive maintenance, conduct property inspections, and ensure all areas (including back-of-house) meet operational standards.
Gardens & Grounds: Maintain manicured gardens, seasonal planting, irrigation systems, and support kitchen gardens.
Team Management: Supervise the maintenance team, allocate tasks, provide training, conduct performance reviews, and manage staff scheduling.
Stores & Assets: Control tools and stock, conduct asset audits, and ensure proper storekeeping and equipment upkeep.
Contractor & Budget Oversight: Manage suppliers, ensure procurement procedures are followed, control budgets, and sign off on contractor work.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce fire safety, emergency readiness, and security procedures. Maintain equipment compliance and team certifications.
HR Support: Recruit and onboard staff, manage uniforms and attendance, and ensure fair discipline and performance monitoring.
Experience as a Facilities Manager in the Hospitality Sector
Between 5 - 7 Years
