Manage the commercial performance of multiple construction projects.
Prepare and negotiate contracts, tenders, and procurement agreements.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
Mitigate risks and manage disputes or claims as they arise.
Collaborate with site teams to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.
Oversee cost planning, value engineering, and variation control.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Support business development through pricing strategies and tender submissions.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management,or related field.
Professional membership with RICS, SACQSP, or equivalent (advantageous).
Experience:
8–15 years’ experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role in construction.
Proven experience managing commercial aspects of medium to large-scale building or civil projects.
Solid knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, and other contract forms.
Skills:
Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, BuildSmart, CCS Candy, or similar software.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Between 7 - 10 Years
