Job summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic digital account manager to manage and grow our portfolio of clients across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, client management, and a passion for achieving business results. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with clients, ensuring the successful delivery of digital campaigns, and identifying opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities:
Client relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the agency can meet them effectively. Act as the primary point of contact for new business prospects.
Quoting and invoicing: Accurately scope projects and generate quotes and invoices for clients.
Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and potential areas for growth. Provide insights to the management team to inform strategic decisions.
Sales strategy development: Work closely with the Business Director - Digital to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the agency’s goals.
Pitching and presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to potential clients. Tailor proposals to meet the specific needs of prospects.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., account management, creative, and digital marketing) to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of services to new clients.
Performance tracking and reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities. Provide regular updates to the management team on progress towards goals.
Networking: Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Build and maintain a strong professional network.
Customer feedback: Gather and analyse feedback from clients and prospects to continuously improve the agency’s offerings and approach.
Campaign strategy and execution: Work closely with clients to develop digital marketing strategies that meet their business goals, overseeing the implementation of campaigns across platforms (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, email, etc.).
Project management: Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring that campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (creative, technical, content, paid media) to deliver high-quality digital solutions for clients.
Upselling and cross-selling: Identify opportunities to expand services and products to existing clients, ensuring client retention and contributing to revenue growth.
Budget management: Monitor and manage client budgets, ensuring maximum ROI for both the client and the agency.

Qualifications:
Degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Three-plus years of experience in business development, account management, preferably within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
Proven track record of successfully generating and closing new business opportunities.
Strong understanding of digital marketing services (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, web development).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
