The Opportunity: NetDevOps Engineer
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of telecom automation? As a NetDevOps Engineer at Jurumani, you’ll drive innovation by automating the lifecycle of network devices and services. You’ll design, build, and maintain microservices that power our automation platform, enabling fast, reliable, and scalable provisioning, assurance, and migrations of telecom infrastructure.
You’ll work with a modern tech stack, collaborate across teams, and make a direct impact on mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Development: Build micro-services for device/service provisioning, assurance, firmware management, bulk migrations, and discovery.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a go-to expert for automation solutions; lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Solution Design: Translate product specs into scalable, robust solutions; collaborate on design, testing, and deployment.
- Migration & Compliance: Plan and automate bulk migrations; support compliance validation and reporting.
- Configuration Management: Verify configuration integrity and troubleshoot network issues.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and follow agile delivery practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and drive innovation through learning.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong networking knowledge:
- IP network design and traditional routing/switching.
- SD-WAN technologies.
- TCP/IP & OSI model.
- Certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE) or proven equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in:
- Python for automation scripting.
- Working with APIs, JSON, YAML, and YANG.
- Git version control.
- CI/CD: GitLab pipelines, Argo CD
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere
- OS & Containers: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Frameworks & Messaging: Django, Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Software Architecture: Clean Architecture principles
- Network Automation Platforms: Cisco NSO
- SD-WAN: Velocloud, Meraki, Viptella, Fortigate
- Emerging Tech: n8n, Agent LLMs, MCP
