We are looking for a candidate with suitable qualifications and experience to join our dynamic and passionate team to oversee all aspects of Human Resource practises and processes.
Main purpose of the role
The HR Manager will play a strategic and hands-on role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function. This role is responsible for leading and delivering a wide range of HR services, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and HR policy implementation. In addition, the HR Manager will provide oversight and support for payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation. The ideal candidate will bring broad expertise in HR practices, in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and payroll operations, and strong leadership skills to manage priorities and drive HR initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support company culture and business goals through the implementation of a Human Resources strategy.
- Develop and maintain Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with South African labour laws.
- Responsible for all RSA HR management, including grievances, disciplinary issues, employment contracts, succession planning, and any employee-related services.
- Oversee South African talent acquisition and employee onboarding
- Responsible for all statutory HR and payroll reporting requirements.
- Oversee training budget and programmes.
- Oversee initiatives to measure employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Implement and manage employee wellness programmes.
- Support and coach the management team on various leadership matters, including change management.
- Assisting managers in preparing job descriptions.
- Assist with employee queries.
- Oversee exit interviews.
- Liaise with the Recruitment Specialist in assisting with recruitment practices.
- Experience in managing and developing a team of HR personnel.
- Knowledge and experience of introducing new ideas to improve employee engagement.
- Manage and oversee the company’s Performance Management process.
- Maintain statutory documents such as Workmen’s Compensation, BBBEE certificate renewals, Employment Equity and Workplace Skills Plan.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 10 + years’ experience in the HR field
- At least 5 years of management experience
- Experience in report writing utilising Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and SharePoint.
- Experience of using HR Information Systems eg. PaySpace
- Good knowledge of employment/labour laws.
- Well-organized and excellent time management skills.
