The Role

We are seeking a proactive, creative and detail-oriented Creative Bid Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of our bid and tender strategy, ensuring we consistently submit high-quality bids that support our business growth. They will review potential bids for agency fit and manage the entire bid process, collaborating closely with management, bid leads and craft specialists. This role includes ensuring bids are delivered on time and to the highest standards, reviewing scored bids to compile learnings, and overseeing the content quality of aiPete, AIP’s AI bid solution.

Responsibilities

➔ Strategy development & implementation: Support the development and implementation of our bid and tender strategy to support business growth.

➔ Opportunity identification: Identify opportunities to submit bids and contribute to qualification and decision-making processes.

➔ Bid process management: Manage and optimise the entire bid process, ensuring colleagues understand their responsibilities and deadlines, and bids are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

➔ Proposal development: Research, write, and check proposals to ensure they meet our high standards.

➔ Collaboration: Work with key members of the leadership, craft, and account teams to gather the necessary knowledge and resources to compile outstanding bids.

➔ Content quality oversight: Oversee the content quality of AIPete, AIP’s AI bid solution and keep growing this knowledge base and using AI to streamline bid workflows and improve quality of outputs.

➔ Risk assessment: Assess and address the risks and benefits of pursuing specific tenders and support in developing our ‘Win Strategy’ for briefs we respond to.

➔ Stakeholder engagement: Respond to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during, and after the bid process.

➔ Deliverable management: Own deliverables, liaising with subject matter experts, and ensuring deadlines are met.

➔ Handover: When successful, support briefing the teams who will carry out the work, ensuring a smooth transition.

➔ Continuous improvement: Review scored bids, gather feedback, analyse results, and implement learnings to improve future submissions.

➔ Quality assurance: Ensure that everything we produce and submit during the bid process reflects our best values and meets our high standards.

➔ Proven experience in bid management or a similar role.

➔ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

➔ Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.

➔ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

➔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

➔ Ability to assess risks and benefits in the bid process.

➔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

➔ Proficiency in using bid management software and tools.

➔ Proficiency in using AI tools to streamline the bid management process, improve quality of output and success rates.
