Now we’re searching for an Internal Communications Editor to help us deliver on that promise.

The award-winning Internal Communications team is looking for an experienced, strategically minded editor to work on one of it’s flagship client accounts. This full-time role is perfect for an organised, process- driven project manager; an eagle-eyed editor; and a skilled strategist, based in Cape Town.


What you’ll do:

  • Conceptualising, planning and producing social media and blog posts for corporate social media channels.
  • Conceptualising, planning and producing employee communications content for a variety of internal channels and stakeholders
  • Preparing and maintaining internal and external content calendars and schedules
  • Holding weekly status meetings with internal and external client contacts
  • Brainstorming campaigns and creative concepts with internal and client teams
  • Briefing senior content producer, designers and video team; researching, writing and editing copy where necessary
  • Working with Media24 insights team to prepare monthly analytics reports
  • Project managing out-of-scope and ad-hoc projects as required by client


What we require:

  • Adept at project management and client liaison: organised, agile and articulate.
  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, understand their business objectives and provide insight-driven recommendations
  • Apply a strategic content framework to day-to-day content creation
  • A healthy respect for platform best practices and editorial quality-control processes
  • A working knowledge of most Microsoft and Adobe software is a must
  • An understanding of data analysis and the ability to extract insights from statistics
  • Social media smarts and ESN (enterprise social network) experience would be beneficial
  • An editor who thinks visually – how will this copy work in an animated video or infographic?
  • Ability to manage several briefs/projects/ stakeholders at once and turn work around quickly and cleanly
