Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology (or equivalent)
  • Current registration with HPCSA as an independent Audiologist
  • Minimum 1–2 years clinical experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between stores

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic audiology services across multiple Spec-Savers
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry.
  • Provide hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and reprogramming based on patient needs.
  • Counsel patients on their hearing assessment results and guide them through suitable management options.
  • Educate patients on the use, care, and maintenance of their hearing aids.
  • Address and resolve hearing aid-related queries and concerns.
  • Complete all audiology-related administrative tasks accurately and timeously, including patient records, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering patient-centered care
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
