Regional Field Service Manager at Siemens Energy
Your role will involve strategizing and troubleshooting complex technical issues, ensuring seamless operations across multiple locations. You will engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to evaluate and improve service delivery, encouraging a culture of outstanding and continuous improvement. Your proactive approach and outstanding leadership will drive our service operations to new heights, making a tangible impact on our business and customer satisfaction
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate and manage all field service activities, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting of compressor installations.
- Lead and support a regional team of field service engineers.
- Ensure service quality, customer happiness, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement service strategies to enhance performance, customer dedication, and revenue.
- Coordinate with regional sales and operations teams to align & forecast field activities with broader business goals.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers, partners, and internal collaborators to identify service opportunities and offer technical support.
- Monitor and report on critical metrics for service, team performance, and regional service trends.
- Drive continuous improvement and training initiatives for the service team.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology, business administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in service businesses (field service, repair operations, customer technical support) or equivalent.
- Strong degree of tact and integrity, capable of interacting with management peers, shop personnel, and clients.
- Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate business goals into actionable operational initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate current processes and procedural efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Profound understanding of turbo & reciprocating machinery principles, operations, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work under time constraints, good people skills, and a high degree of initiative.
- Travel, as required both regionally and internationally, is approximately 10% - 25%.
