Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare the housekeeping room attendants task sheets
  • Update the status of rooms on the pms system
  • Field calls from hotel teams, guests and suppliers and action accordingly
  • Follow up on the status of the departure rooms after 10:00am and ensure the teams know what and when to action
  • Assist the manager to alert of absenteeism and phone for replacement staff
  • Assist with the prp management
  • Office support
  • Balance multiple tasks efficiently, such as answering phone calls, assisting customers, and managing administrative duties.
  • Escalate any serious issues to management when necessary
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as a point of contact between guests and various hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc
  • Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Effectively deal with complaints by attempting to resolve them or forwarding them to the right manager

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric
