Role Overview

PURPOSE OF JOB

JTC Academy is responsible for assisting in a proactive learning and development service to the JTC Group. The Administrator’s activities are aligned and support the delivery of the JTC Group plan and business objectives including all learning and development activities including administration, design and delivery.

Main Responsibilities And Duties

  • Support the accurate and timely administration of the learning and development service offering.
  • Assist for the administration of the JTC Academy email enquiries.
  • Provide administration assistance with the setup of JTC Academy events within the learning management system.
  • Editing and upload of recorded training sessions onto our learning management system.
  • Assist in the build of a suite of reports for learning and development data based on various business needs.
  • Build and maintain a compilation of process guides and checklists for JTC Academy based on key activities within the L & D team.
  • Support the Assistant Manager in identifying learning opportunities which can be realised through creative online content creation and develop online resources.
  • Assist in the administration of online training resources using our e-learning ‘Articulate Storyline’ Software or other products.
  • Support the team in the design and delivery of a suite learning curriculums for business areas that encompasses different jurisdictions, and which supports the engagement in the JTC Academy.
  • Develop own capabilities to become a learning and development subject matter expert and continue to stay 'ahead of the game' in terms of learning technologies and particularly eLearning design and creative learning execution.
  • Actively contribute and be a key member of a multi-jurisdictional HR team building effective working relationships to ensure procedures are accurately followed, allowing for continuity of service during busy periods or times of absence.
  • Uphold the professional standards expected of an HR practitioner and act as a role model of excellence with all clients, internally and externally.
  • Maintain accuracy when handling data and ensure that the integrity of processes is maintained. Follow four eye check protocol and fully complete checklists as required.
  • Contribute to the wider HR team, supporting ad hoc projects, exchanging knowledge and supporting standards of good practice.
  • Developing self and always maintaining knowledge in relevant field and undertake CPD.
  • Consistently demonstrate JTC core values and guiding principles. Any other duties as deemed necessary.

  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to juggle a number of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good at managing and maintaining the organisation of email enquiries.
  • Previous experience of providing support in relation to the administration of learning management systems but not essential.
  • A willingness to learn and make suggestions of improvements.
  • A flair or interest in creativity.
